Wiki Update

I’ve decided for the article “Borussia Dortmund”, a German soccer team, which plays in the first “Bundesliga“ and has won the German championship in the last season.

I’ve already analyzed the history of the article. Concerning to the history, there were plenty of entries from different users in the last months. Especially in May, when the team has won the championship, a lot of users were active in the article. That’s a good example, how collective intelligence works and how quick users try to change or add information at the Wikipedia article.

I’ve also analyzed the discussion of the article. There are some entries, but mostly with only one comment. Additionally, the discussion isn’t very current. Pertaining to the accuracy of information, nearly everything seems right. I’ve checked the information at the official sites of the club, for instance the website of the stadium as well as the website of the club. I’ve figured out that there is a high commonality of information in the Wikipedia article and in the websites of the club.
