Wikipedia: East Memphis

I am doing my wikipedia project on my neighborhood, East Memphis. Let me know if you live in the area! I was raised on the same street where I live now. In my case, this means that I was there when the street was a field and saw the neighborhood go from empty lots to houses because my father was an engineer and he surveyed the land when it was a swamp. He also picked out the lot where our house was built. He had grown up in Memphis when everything east of Audobun Park was a swamp.

The page itself is more than a little sketchy on details and has no photographs. I'm planning to fix that. The only controversy at all is what the boundaries of the neighborhood are but that is a big one. Is it Parkway or Highland? This seems to be a big emotional point for some folks.

The people who have contributed to the page to date have apparently been interested in private religous schools and restaurants. I'd like to provide a more balanced contribution to the list of schools and other businesses in the area. East Memphis includes a lot of business as well as a lot of residences. There are many schools (including the University of Memphis) and I'd like to add to the list of other venues that the neighborhood has to offer.

At present, I am the only person contributing to the page.
