After entering a post on the American Chinese Cuisine wikipedia article last week, my post disappeared approximately 12 hours later, only to reappear an hour or so after that. I wrote about Tennessee American Chinese cuisine under the regional section where Hawaiian and San Franciscan cuisine were previously discussed. I have not posted sources yet and believe the article disappeared for this reason, but once references were checked and I linked to other wikipages my post was put back in place. I plan to write about eight more topics that I have researched, however I am having a bit of trouble citing references and need to read more on this help topic.
Due the nature of my subject the page does not have a lot of followers. So, I decided to do a little experiment and start a new page for the Economic Council that I am working for currently. The NEW page was removed within six hours for non-cited references. I used the Council's web page for references and citing and had not learned this was an invalid citing until it was removed. I will continue to do more research on appropriate citing.
