The Wikipedia project isn't turning out as easily as I was expecting. I see now that I should have chosen a better topic for the nature of this project. I want to contribute to the article, but every active follower is forcing the article into a very fact-driven, non-speculative, non-elaborative and mundane article. Though I have been looking for more sources and information to add, it is become difficult to find credible ones that fit with Wiki standards.
It's killing my creative spirit, and the overall role of Wikipedia as as a a first encounter source of information. If any random person came for a quick breakdown on the topic (a website/organization), they would leave confused about the politics of it and maybe even try a different hospitality networking site that has a more streamlined public image. This is one downfall of having user-created content - for both Wikipedia and the CS website. Maybe, as they implement new changes, they will have funding and marketing push to create a more accessible image.
