long term future of tv

I think the future of TV will be dead or explicit. Some will think I'm crazy but we live in a sex craved world and I think that things on TV kids wont be allowed to see so therefore it will be explicit and uncut. Videos like amber Cole and April Pratt are becoming very famous because of sex related topics. Maybe it wouldnt be all over TV but I think it will be huge and kids wont be able to watch Tv like we used to. Cartoons are already to sexual.
also bootleg cable is going away since everything is going digital no one wants to pay for real cable even though I do. I know a lot of people that are upset about the bootleg being cut off that they have paid good money for!
Its hilarious to me but TV will eventually corrupt. TVs are too expensive anyway!!! :)

  1. So, you think the future of tv will be more explicit? There will be less restrictions on sex, language, drugs, violence?
I know cable has been explicit for a long time and the only filter is a watchful guardian and viewer discretion. Technology has been created to try to
filter out certain programming - those v-chip filters in tvs, black box warnings.

But the internet doesn't have these FCC restrictions. Neither do the iPhones and smart devices that young kids have.

Show it all or get left behind? Increased freedom on TV or death of TV. Are those the choices? Interesting view, Jashma.

  2. I don't really believe that the future of tv will be explicit...there is also a craze for animated shows like dora the explorer and spongebob...I know because I have a very active 3yr old :). I think that the future of tv is in the hands of the future generation. I believe that internet will become more explicit but television will probably remain the same just slowly dying off a little
